Getting Your Toddler To Eat Their Veggies
Q: How do I make it "easier" to get my toddler to eat their veggies?
A: Hide them! And if they have something they love, let them eat it!

| Spinach with tomatoes & tahini dressing, sweet potatoes and corn. |

Ready for some examples? Let's do this!
1) Smoothies - Just blend in spinach. SUCH an easy way to hide veggies and it's one of the best veggies for our kids.
2) Pasta - We have become very into homemade sauces for our pastas. If you following me on Instagram, you have probably seen all the fun posts about "Avocado Pesto" or "Plant-Based Mac & Cheese." These are SO easy to make and my little guy LOVES them. (We love these recipes too!)
3) Avocado - Okay, so avocado has become our "magic food." It's a staple in our home and I feel great having my little one eating it regularly. Now heres my tip: When prepping salad for your little, cut the lettuce up VERY small and mix with with mashed avocado. Your little will likely not notice the "leaves" and just be there for the avocado.

Mom Tip: Don't force your child to eat their veggies. It's not worth the fight/screaming/tears in my opinion. We don't want children to think that veggies are "evil" but rather, if there is one they like, offer it to them regularly! And on the days they don't want it, don't make them eat it.
Bonus Mom Tip: Lead by example. My little one LOVES seeing mom & dad eating what he eats. We find that he eats best when we just let him eat with little intervening. It's those meal times that he will eat every. last. vegetable. and usually ask for more!
**Remember, even as adults, we have days where we don't want our vegetables. Kids are no different.
